Mission Statement
The Pepper Tree literary magazine is published monthly to celebrate and give recognition to talented writers and illustrators of all ages in our community. Our mission is to give unknown writers and illustrators a chance to become known. We also print articles and short stories written by published writers to learn from their experiences.
The Pepper Tree literary magazine is published quarterly and distributed free to numerous locations in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties. The articles submitted by our contributing writers do not necessarily reflect the opinions of this publication. Reproduction of any material appearing within this publication is strictly prohibited without the expressed written consent of the publisher.

From Canvas to Cover
The cover will always feature an illustrator from our community. It will be a full page rendering of the illustrator’s artwork highlighting his or her particular style and imagination. If you are an illustrator and would like the opportunity to be on the cover of The Pepper Tree, please contact us and set up an appointment with the editor/publisher.
